Urgent:The Boundary Commission (BC) have recommended new wards for the local area which will cut Woodmansterne Village in half - the top half going to Banstead and the bottom half to Chipstead and Kingswood.  You can comment on these proposals by going on the BC website consultation.lgbce.org.uk.  The consultation ends on 13th August 2018.

The Woodmansterne Green Belt and Residents’ Association (WGBRA) works on behalf of the village on a variety of local issues.

It aims to provide a platform to voice, discuss and, where possible, resolve issues which directly affect local residents as well as the community, including the groups and associations using or providing facilities in the village.

The WGBRA achieves this by:

  • holding monthly meetings (open to all residents) on the 3rd Wednesday of every month in the Village Hall in Carshalton Road from 8.00-9.30 pm
  • producing a Newsletter in the Spring & Autumn of every year (with a distribution of 1500 copies throughout the village)
  • holding an Annual General Meeting in April each year to which all residents are invited

The WGBRA is non-political and non-profit making and is keen to continue to provide an effective service to the community. The aim of our website is to provide a central information point for anyone wishing to find out about Woodmansterne.

The current committee members are:

Penny Hext (Chair/acting Secretary); Chrissy Page (Treasurer); Tina Davis (Minutes); Evan Gregory (Vice Chair/Planning); Jennie Auston; Anne Coward (Highways); George Jones; Debra Farrell; Pat Thorpe, Vicky Field and Christine O'Brien.

Meeting dates 2018/2019
