The Boundary Commission have made their final decision on the ward structure in Reigate and Banstead.  It's good news for Woodmansterne which will stay as it is with the exception of the roads off of Croydon Lane (South Drive, Lipsham Close and Fairlawn Grove) which will join Banstead.  The name of Woodmansterne will also be retained in the name of the ward - Chipstead, Kingswood and Woodmansterne.  Many thanks to the 80 residents who opposed the recommendations and whose comments swayed the commission to make the changes. To see a copy of the document click here.  There will be 15 wards in Reigate and Banstead each represented by 3 councillors - elections to take place in May 2019.

Woodmansterne To Purley Water Pipeline
From Monday 9th July, fencing will be put up to mark out the route and working area of the above pipeline.  Some local footpaths wil be closed - part of the footpath towards The Mount will be closed but the footpath from Rectory Lane to Lyndhurst Road will be unaffected.  The fencing will remain in place until the construction phase has been completed.  For more information please visit:  seswater.co.uk/Woodmansternetopurley.

Reigate and Banstead Development Management Plan (DMP)
Following the independent examination of the plan, main modications have been recommended to make the plan sound.
There will be consultation regarding these from Wednesday 6 March 2019 to Thursday 18 April.  These can be viewed at www.reigate-banstead.gov.uk.
