The Sustainable Warmth grant is now available for application
What you can apply for? insulation and ventilation upgrades; an upgrade to a low carbon heating system (the new heating system cannot include a gas or oil boiler); heating controls; Solar PV (that generates free electricity) and energy efficient lighting
Who can apply? The fund is aimed at low income, low Energy Performance (EPC) rated private properties. Rented properties might also be eligible if the landlord also contributes.

Transport for London (TFL) are consulting on proposals to extend the Ultra-Low
Emission Zone (ULEZ) London-wide on 29 August 2023. Drivers of
non-compliant vehicles would pay £12.50 per day to drive within Greater London.
The consultation ends 29 July 2022.

A second Public Inquiry into Map Modification Orders relating to potential footpaths on land adjacent to Rectory Lane, Woodmansterne is due to be held on 10th/11th May 2023.
The venue is Walcountians Sports Club, Carshalton Road, Banstead, SM7 3HU, and it is due to start at 10am on the first day.
Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Funding
Last year WGBRA put in a bid for funding to improve the path which runs across Woodmansterne Village Green towards Merrymeet, the village hall, Scout HQ, Woodmansterne school, the community garden and allotments. RECTORY LANE SUTTON & EAST SURREY WASTE WATER DRAINAGE LAGOON
Planning
Permission has been given by R&BBC to Sutton & E Surrey Water
Services (S&ESW) for the construction of a drainage lagoon at the bottom of
Rectory Lane (in the field opposite the shops). The boundary and landscaping of this site has been given permission (planning references 14/02077/DET03 and 14/02077/DET04). The footpaths is the field are in the process of being registered.
