There are vacancies for road stewards for Manor Way, Lakers Rise and Woodmansterne Lane.  Please contact us at if you are able to help.

The Woodmansterne Green Belt and Residents’ Association (WGBRA) works on behalf of the village on a variety of local issues.

It aims to provide a platform to voice, discuss and, where possible, resolve issues which directly affect local residents as well as the community, including the groups and associations using or providing facilities in the village.

The WGBRA achieves this by:

  • holding monthly meetings (open to all residents) on the 3rd Wednesday of every month in the Village Hall in Carshalton Road from 8.00-9.30 pm
  • producing a Newsletter in the Spring & Autumn.  Click here for the latest copy.
  • holding an Annual General Meeting in April each year to which all residents are invited

  • communicating regularly with our local and county councillors

The WGBRA is non-political and non-profit making and is keen to continue to provide an effective service to the community. The aim of our website is to provide a central information point for anyone wishing to find out about Woodmansterne and the work of the residents' association.

The current committee members are:

Penny Hext (Chair/acting Secretary); Chrissy Page (Treasurer); Sandra Kaye (minutes); Jennie Auston; Anne Coward (Highways); Christine Leyton; Pat Thorpe, Vicky Field and Christine O'Brien.

Meeting dates 2019/2020
